Final Punch List/Warranty Inspection & Maintenance Inspection

When you are purchasing a newly built home you will want to have an inspection as soon as the home has received the Certificate of Occupancy and before the final walk through.  This will help to ensure that the builder has done their job properly.  The inspection report can serve as your final "punch list", before closing.

The punch list can be used as a list of corrections for the contractor to repair under the warranty coverage (usually one year).  This way, the inspection will help point out any potential problems that the builders can repair at their cost, before the warranty expires.

Maintenance Inspection

It's a good idea to have your home inspected at least once every 3 years.

This could save you thousands of dollars, by locating potention problems before they turn into major disasters.
